BCIB hired its first skilled trades employee in 2019. Since then, we have grown into one of the largest and most diverse construction employers in BC.
To date, BCIB has employed more than 6,500 qualified tradespeople that have contributed to the completion of 6 major projects. We’ve learned a lot along the way and our work has been recognized with a few accolades and awards.
This year marks the fifth time we have been selected as one of BC’s Top Employer and the third time we have been chosen as one of Canada’s Top Diversity Employer.
